Two technologies with significant potential societal impacts are
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning are already changing many areas, like healthcare and finance. AI can quickly look at large amounts of data and help doctors find diseases faster or make better treatment plans. In finance, AI can help banks detect fraud and provide personalized advice to customers. It can also take over simple tasks that people do, making things faster and more efficient. However, there are some challenges, like concerns about privacy and whether AI could take over certain jobs, which is why people are carefully thinking about how to use it responsibly.
