Massively Open Online Courses (MOOCs)

Massively Open Online Courses (MOOCs) - The internet is enabling people every where to learn online free. FutureLearnOERuCourseraedX are some of the biggest sites, offering courses from many different colleges and universities around the world. Some offer "credit" for a small fee if the learners complete specific course work. You don't have to be enrolled in the college to take these online courses. Have you personally participated in any MOOC courses? What course? What was your experience? How are MOOCs courses different from courses for enrolled students?

I have not personally participated in a MOOC course but I used to learned some English class at Coursera online learning site. The Coursera website offers free online courses from top universities and institutions worldwide. It allows learners to explore various subjects, from technology to business and personal development, at no cost. These courses are flexible, making it easy to learn at your own pace. Overall, Coursera provides a great opportunity for anyone to gain knowledge and improve skills without the need for formal enrollment.
