Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/ is an online open-source reference that hosts millions of articles contributed by thousands of volunteers and managed by highly-trained editors. Wikipedia receives billions of page views per month. Find a Wikipedia article for a topic that interests you. Look at the History and Talk (links in the page header - these are separate pages) for the Wikipedia page you select. In the History page for the article you select, find a contributor and read their profile. In the Talk page, is there any discussion or controversy? In the Wikipedia and Trust discussion provide the link to page you reviewed and a brief summary of the story behind the story including information from the History and Talk pages.

I review the wikipedia talk page which explains the purpose and importance of Talk pages on Wikipedia, where contributors discuss edits, share ideas, and resolve disputes about content. These pages are essential for maintaining the quality and neutrality of Wikipedia articles, as they allow editors to collaborate and ensure accuracy. The Talk pages promote transparency by showing how decisions about content are made and give readers insight into the editing process. This open communication is a key strength of Wikipedia, as it relies on a global community of volunteers to continuously improve and update information.
