I like Canvas because it allows me to use it from the laptop and the phone. However, I sometimes get confused because professors use different features in each course.
I think Canvas is a software with complete functions and easy to use, but its art style is a bit unappealing
Canvas is a very good learning platform for students like myself to easily access course materials, assignments, and grades. It has interactive tools, like discussions and quizzes, chats, zoom and other resources as well. I think that it is a great application to help people connect with one another.
Having used Canvas for a few years now, it continues to function effectively for anyone who takes just a little bit of time to learn about its features. I use a preferred setup for class visibility and am still happy with it.
Canvas, is very user friendly and customizable. Very easy to understand and also the future for online education. I personally made mine dark so my eyes don't hurt as much.
I love Canvas for its simplicity and ease of use. However, some features could be improved, as it could benefit from a faster performance and a more modern appearance.
Canvas, if organized right, can really set you up great for classes. I personally like to change the color setting of each of my classes so that identifying what needs to be done on my calendar.
To me, Canvas has been an amazing tool to use. I find its layout very user friendly and easy to navigate. Seems like it has just the right amount of what it needs. So far, I don't think that I have any complaints with it nor do I think that I can suggest any changes. I have been using Canvas for over a year now and it has always served me well.
Canvas is a great tool to help me to manage my progress on multiple courses. The Modules section provides many helpful course materials and weekly schedule. The Grades section links to assignments and their due dates. There are other communication & collaboration functions like Chat, Zoom and Discussion boards. Overall very easy to use tool to connect with instructor & classmates.
Canvas is a robust online learning management system used by educational institutions to manage courses, assignments, and communication between students and instructors. Instructors use Canvas to organize lessons, grade assignments, and track student progress.
Explore on canvas, the dashboard provides easy access to courses, syllabus, modules, assignments, and grades, discussion session which helps students stay organize and connect with classmates.
I have always been familiar with Canvas since high school, though whenever an update is done, I tend to fumble a bit before I eventually get to master it.
Please consider utilizing the Grades page to its full potential, it may seem tedious, but it helps me track my progress. Thanks
I have used canvas since high school so I am pretty familiar with it
I've been familiar with canvas since senior year of high school but got more familiarized with it in college. I've been using canvas for 4 years which gave me plenty of time to explore all of its functions. However, it would be nice to have more options to customize and filter from the settings.
One feature I appreciate about Canvas is the "To-Do" list, which helps me stay organized and keep track of upcoming assignments and deadlines. The integration with my calendar makes it easy to plan my study schedule and manage multiple courses efficiently. I also like how Canvas sends reminders for due dates, ensuring I never miss an important task.
I've used canvas for years because I had it at my previous university as well.
This is my second quarter. I knew better.
I've used Canvas for years now, so I know most of its functions.
Topic: Canvas exploration
This is my second quarter using Canvas online. I've explored most of it at this point. I do wish however, that there was a way to drag all assignments and tasks into an easy to track to do section.
So far, I enjoy the ui of Canvas. The only confusing part are the different layouts and formats different professors use for their classes.
I think the interface on canvas is very clear and neat, but it would be nice if the tasks in the module could also be displayed on the dashboard. It would also be nice if there was a new message reminder record for easy search.
I've used Canvas for a couple of years now, but have always had a problem with adding photos into posts after talking about certain points. Any workarounds for that?
I've worked with other classroom interfaces like Google Classroom and although I do like Canvas, I wish that it had less options in the side bar as it becomes confusing and harder to navigate.
Canvas is an excellent tool which helps students navigate through class structures easier than ever before. Each section in a course is easily identifiable. Within each section there is many sub categories to choose from that allows for a plethora of knowledge to be obtained as long as you know how to navigate the course.
One recommendation I have for Canvas is the integration of google scholar or the De Anza/Foothill library hyperlink to be attached so it makes researching seamless.
I think canvas is a great tool. I say this because its easy to get from class to class and you can easily see your grades and to-do list. The only things that would be confusing is the different formats the teachers use in different courses.
Canvas is a great tool for students and teachers. I would love to have more customization features for students.
I do enjoy how I am able to use canvas on my laptop and phone and are able to change the color to black on my phone, so I don't get blinded by the white background of it if I open the app, I'd suggest though to go through thoroughly each of your classes on Canvas since some professors like to use different layouts for their classes so it's best to figure out where everything is early on rather than scrambling to look for certain things later on in the course.
I find Canvas organized and straightforward to use, with everything a regular student needs in one source. My main suggestion or my biggest issue is Canvas's notification pop-ups. Whenever a new quarter starts, my phone blows up with random messages from Canvas that don't relate to any class I'm taking, which I find very frustrating.
Using Canvas is beneficial because it offers a user-friendly and flexible interface that simplifies course management and enhances engagement for students. Its flexible design supports both online and blended learning environments, allowing for seamless access to resources and communication.
