Computer and Society
https://computers-society.org/
I give this site a 4/5 rating because it provides a wide range of topics related to computers and society, including books and resource report. It organizes the content into clear categories, such as technology directions, digital security, and impacts in the world relating to digital things, making it easy to navigate and find the right information. It also has recent articles and publications, ensuring users are accessing current discussions in the world. I think the only con is there are a lot of different resources so it could get confusing to navigate through

The Evolution of Computers in Society
I give this site a 3/5 because the site provides a clear structure for educators to follow, including suggested activities and resources and it gives strategies like debates and hands on exercises, making it the work engaging. It also covers the historical evolution of computers and gives both technical and societal context. The only con about the website is that the resources is more for educators to teach to other people about the intrest in computers and society.
1. ACM SIGCAS Computers and Society
-Rating: 4/5
This site is well-organized, offering up-to-date research and articles on computing’s societal impact. It covers topics like AI, privacy, and ethics, but its professional tone and layout may be overwhelming for beginners.

2. Computers and Society: Computing for Good (Routledge)
-Rating: 2/5
While this resource offers valuable case studies on technology for social good, it’s limited by outdated examples and a lack of interactive learning materials, making it less suitable for current needs.

First: https://staysafeonline.org/
The website is very user-friendly, providing clear navigation and a concise interface. The content is classified according to relevant sections, such as "Network Security Fundamentals", "Online Privacy", and "Enterprise Resources". Using titles, bullet points, and infographics can easily and quickly absorb important information. In addition, the website also provides downloadable guides and video tutorials, enhancing the learning experience for users who enjoy visual or auditory content. Provide a search function that allows users to easily find specific topics. Overall, the website has a good structure and can effectively provide concise and actionable network security tips.
Second: https://www.infosecinstitute.com/
Although the website provides a large amount of content related to network security certification and training, its layout is very chaotic. The homepage is filled with information, making it difficult to navigate or prioritize important content. Inconsistent font sizes and the number of advertisements and promotional banners distract attention from the main content. Although there are some useful resources, such as articles and tutorials, they are not easily accessible due to poor organization and lack of simplified search functionality. The website will greatly benefit from improved usability, including better content classification and a more intuitive user interface.
Topic D: Common uses of computers in society – Key Concepts of Computer Studies (opentextbc.ca) 5/5
The web page is user-friendly. The fonts are a good size and easy to read with bullet points. Each content is well organized under categorized segments. Pictures also help readers understand. Voice files are available for readers' convenience. It is concise yet covers most of the important points.
This web page provides up-to-date quality content with visual features. However, the user interface seems to be improved. The link from the left side of the visual page and the subject of contents opens the same webpage. Many irrelevant tags with different font sizes are on the right side. The navigation section is hard to find under the tag. And there are no search functions for the tags or contents.
"Addresses the social and ethical consequences of widespread computer usage." Unsure if they're for or against the prevalence of technology in our world. They do have a significant amount of research projects and conferences, though some of their news is relatively outdated.
https://arxiv.org/list/cs.CY/recent 4/5
Cornell University's forum for articles and discussion on all branches of technology, from data analysis to the effects of electronic scooters on the demand for public transport. Varied in scope, not necessarily easy to find something if you're looking for it, but easy to get pulled into a rabbit hole where you may learn more about something you've never considered.
Rating: 4/5
Very user-friendly interface, welcoming as well. Has tons of information about computers and other types of tech you may be looking for. Also talks about discussions on how computers could either benefit Society or not. The pro's and con's. It's not biased and that's something more people should hear. Non-biased opinions. Almost no ads either. One thing that could be an improvement is the look of the website. The moving graphic on the top can make people maybe shy away from it. Most website that are scams or potential malware have graphics like that.
Rating: 3/5
The vision is there, and it's a great idea for a website. I love how you can look for different papers or publications on it. Yet, the integrity of the website is very questionable due to the absurd amounts of ads. You can barely distinguish how the websites supposed to really look, compared to the ads. Other than that if the website proves to be reliable, it's great way to get a lot of information for any research you may be doing.
Calculating Empires: Pros: It covers almost everything you need to know Cons: A bit complicated.
The 17 Goals: Pros: It encompasses everything a person needs to acknowledge and maintain in their life. Cons: It doesn't support a wide range of languages.
First website 5/5 - PROS: a great website that specifically provides information about the related topic, it has brief descriptions with different outlines like (advantages and disadvantages of computers in society, Integrity Factor), etc. The main reason that I give it 5 out of 5 is that it is easy to navigate through the different links and also it has great accessibility for users like font size.
Second Website 4/5 - PROS: This is a good and useful website, it gives both the latest and old book links that help you out and stay up-to-date. CONS: bad user interface mostly the nav bar that the background and foreground colors do not have a sufficient contrast ratio mostly for desktop viewers.
https://computers-society.org/—PROS: This site has many resources that lead to articles depicting modern computers in society. It also lists an array of books related to computers in society. The articles are very knowledgeable and have a lot of helpful information. They added recent law articles that help you stay up to date. CONS: Their user interface could have been deigned better to navigate each topic with more ease.
https://arxiv.org/list/cs.CY/recent - PROS: 1-The site has over 75 pages of articles dedicated to computers and society. 2- The articles have many different takes on computers in society. 3- The titles are clear to see. CONS: 4- The user interface is very bare and plain, which led me to think that I was looking at an unreliable site. 5- The articles aren't always loaded up correctly; the text is too small or intelligible.
