I'm Asha, and I have a deep passion for both teaching and learning. I believe that every moment spent in education is valuable, while distractions are just that—distractions. Computers fascinate me because they are such powerful tools for creativity and knowledge; when used effectively, they can unlock endless possibilities. I’m currently focused on teaching advanced conversational Hindi and nurturing young minds in my classroom. My schedule is quite busy with various classes and responsibilities, so I strive to stay organized and engaged to make the most of my time. Given my work commitments, I prefer online classes that fit into my schedule, allowing me to balance everything effectively.

Hello everyone,

My name is Yeimili and I am majoring in radiology to soon apply to a Radtech program. This would be my third year at De Anza being able to finalize some of the prerequisites for the program to hopefully start soon. I currently work a full time job and love to travel to tropical places. So far I have Bali and Greece on my bucket list. I also have a cat named Bonita which means pretty in Spanish. She is the most loving and affectionate cat I've ever met!

I'm Athan, I really enjoy either working or learning, everything else is lame and a waste of time.
I really enjoy using the computer, because of how empowering it can be when used properly. It's either a skinner box from hell or an empowering tool that's constantly evolving and improving. I'm taking this class as apart of my CS degree for transfer, but also because I enjoyed the HTML course offered by this professor. I'm enrolled in many other classes and my schedule is packed, so I really need to focus to not fall further behind here. I have a work schedule that prevents me from being able to take day classes, and I prefer online classes to night classes.

Hi everyone, my name is Huyen Phan This will be my third year at De Anza, I am excited to apply to a nursing program soon and to start my career. I have a cat name Umi, it means sea or ocean in Japanese. He is a chubby cat of 16lbs, I hope to get him to lose some weight but he is too lazy to do anything besides running to his auto-feeder. I attached a picture of him down below. Looking forward to this quarter with you all!

Reply from Izel Garcia

Izel Garcia - always happy to make new friends and talk your ear off, looking forward to learning about social trends and the internet.

This is my 3rd year at De Anza and I'm currently majoring in Communications with the plan of getting a bachelor's in Marketing once I've moved on to a 4-year institution. I saw on the Syllabus that at one point we'd be discussing Social Trends which sounds exciting and interesting! Along with that, I'm looking forward to learning more about the impact technology leaves on us. This is 1 of the 3 classes I'm taking this quarter.

As for my interests, I love to read, watch true crime documentaries, and go clothing shopping. Lastly, I do have travel plans that overlap with the quarter but I will be practicing great time management to ensure nothing conflicts with my school-work!

*sorry for so many edits, I was confused about what prompts were expected from us.

Reply from Samantha Gonzalez

Sam- always listening to or watching something new, open to all kinds of ideas.

This is my 3rd year at de Anza, and this is the only class I'm taking here; the rest of my classes are at Foothill. I enjoy going to concerts and going camping. I am pursuing a career in nuclear medicine. I am looking forward to learn more about the devices I use so much in my everyday life. Concerts bring me a lot of joy; live music is something very important to me, and I love sharing those experiences with people I love.

I am more of a doer- I often find myself doing things before I think about them.
