CIS project group 2

CIS 2 Group Project

HOW WE DID OUR SELECTIONS:

Rather than having a discussion under each source for why we selected it, we’ve opted to write an explanation here. For our group project, we took a collaborative approach by designating each team member as an "expert" on a specific topic. This specialization allowed us to dive deeper into different aspects of the project, ensuring a well-rounded and thorough exploration of our subject. Each expert was tasked with completing a minimum of three sources, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives and expertise was included.

  • The individual links to each group member’s copies are next to their name on the resources they’ve included.

Adrian Munoz: What Is Cybersecurity? | IBM

They not only go over what cybersecurity is but also its importance, the types of cybersecurity, the challenges, some myths that surround cybersecurity and the type of threats that are common in cyber security. It is filled with a ton of informative information on cybersecurity and I would consider this to be the best resource since it gives me so much information pertaining to cybersecurity and in a well formatted way.

Active listening skills are huge for adults, literally simply to maintain relationships. Many people do not understand how to do this. Looking at your phone mid conversation is way too common these days.

360 video is cool, once the Apple Vision Pro gets to a more reasonable size and price, this will be much more enjoyable and immersive for the average person. I like VR, but there’s not enough software or video.

  1. Midterm – Grand Challenges

Best Resource: This one is a difficult one because both of these resources provided me with new insight on how big of a problem AI is and the man power it will take to control and evaluate it’s impact on our society and it’s access to Big Data. Still, I’m going to have to give this one to resource 1 because I learned that technology is sometimes the most useful outside the usual tech hubs.

Athan Kouvelis: https://www.instructables.com/how-to-take-great-photos-with-an-iPhone/
This has actually been a huge issue for my friend, who’s into photography. The iphone and every other modern phone, uses insane Ai nonsense to “enhance” images, and they end up making them look terrible. You literally can’t take nice pictures. Once you zoom in at all, it’s a soupy Ai mess. Sony is literally the only brand, actually allowing the Ai to be ignored. All other brands for it. You can’t even turn it off, there’s literally no way. Not even “Pro” or “Raw” modes. It’s truly terrible.
